About:

At the age of 11 I began my passionate journey
as an artist while attending The Roberto
Clemente School for Music & Art located in
Harlem NY. Rich with its culture Harlem
provided unique inspiration and influence in
the developing of my desire as a young artist.
However at the age of 13 as a freshman at
Curtis High School located on Staten Island I
was introduced to painting with acrylics by
teacher George Schneider. His style and
approach to Instruction was very smooth and
care free if you will. I once asked him if I could
use some toxic element as I was
experimenting. His response was with a smile
followed by "yes you may use it, but not in the
classroom, use it in the hallway." This moment
prepared me to create a piece which awarded
me a Congressional Merritt Award as a high school senior.
